Hosted PBX, SIP trunking and UCaaS platforms that need outbound termination and local inbound numbers for their customers.

Technical

How the interconnect works

SIP interconnect

SIP over UDP, TCP and TLS. Codecs G.711 a-law and u-law, G.729 and Opus; T.38 for fax. Authentication by IP or credentials.

Origin-based voice pricing

Rates depend on where the traffic originates as well as the destination. EU destinations are typically priced separately for EU and non-EU origins.

SMPP 3.4 and REST for SMS

Bind over SMPP 3.4 or send over the REST API. Sender ID registration is required in many countries; we handle it as part of onboarding.

Quality reporting

Call detail records with ASR, ACD and PDD per destination, so you can compare route performance against your own targets.

Onboarding

From KYC to live traffic

  1. KYC and agreement

Company verification and a signed services agreement before any production route is issued.

  2. Traffic profile

Destinations, origins, expected volume, CLI and dialling pattern for voice; countries, sender IDs and use case for SMS.

  3. Interop test

SIP test trunk or SMPP test bind to confirm signalling, codecs, CLI presentation and message delivery.

  4. Rate deck

A rate deck for your origins and destinations. Indicative public rates are a starting point only.

  5. Live with a credit limit

Production traffic starts within an agreed credit limit, prepaid by default, which is reviewed as volume grows.
